THURSDAY, June 7th

Twilight Tunes | Denton County Courthouse On The Square | 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM  
The Denton Main Street Association proudly presents their award-winning FREE concert series in downtown Denton on Thursdays, this week featuring Hope Trust! Admission is always FREE, so there is no reason you shouldn’t come out every week with your lawn chair or picnic blanket! Thursdays are also always hoppin’ downtown with Glitterbomb at Andy’s, a bicycle social ride at Eastside, live jazz at Steve’s Wine Bar, trivia at Mulberry St. Cantina, and gnoshes at Wine2, so plenty of good choices around the Square.

Le Not-So-Hot Klub d'Denton | Barley & Board | 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM  
First Thursday brings the swingin’ Parisian sounds of gypsy jazz during Happy Hour. Tres bon! Later, Spiderweb Salon hosts a Comix ‘Zine Workshop at their secret HQ.

FRIDAY, June 8th

Grand Opening Weekend 2 | Armadillo Ale Works | 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM  
WAHOO, the time has finally arrived! Armadillo Ales spreads out their Grand Opening parties over two straight weekends with Food Trucks, Live Music, Live Screen Printing, and tons of their tasty award-winning craft beer! Yes, Please, thank You.

Levi Cobb & The Big Smoke | BackYard On Bell | 9:00 PM - 12:01 AM  
Enjoy this showcase of Denton’s best folk music with the fabled whiskey-soaked sounds of The Big Smoke, along with Edgar Derby followed by Matt Grigsby. It’ll do your soul some good.

Home Brewers League Launch | Barley & Board | 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM  
B&B is launching a regular program that works with a local homebrewer to create a limited edition beer which highlights his/her unique style & personality, and their debut  unveils a Black IPA. There will be door prizes, a chance to speak with Cole Haley about this special brew, and a few fun surprises besides a free pint glass with purchase of their featured beer.

Snarky Puppy | Bomb Factory in Deep Ellum | 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM  
ICYMI a UNT College of Music tweet announced that Snarky Puppy will come through NTX on June 8 as part of their US tour, so Michael League, alumnus & bandleader, will visit the Denton campus 12-1 that day for a Q&A with students.

SATURDAY, June 9th

Denton Community Market | Denton County Historic Park | 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM  
The beloved Denton Community Market is the best way to ring in Saturdays, and this weekend you can find all kinds of nifty crafty swag, produce, veggies, and live music! Browsing always pairs nicely with Saturday Jazz Brunch at The Chestnut Tree after some Yoga On The Square.

Six Nine Denton Fest | Andy’s Bar | 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM
Six Nine Denton fancies itself an all day local music festival featuring some of the best (and most notorious) acts in town. Music on the venue and in the basement thunders all day!

SUNDAY, June 10th

Infinity Strip Burlesque Brunch | Andy’s Bar | 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM
AVENGERS ASSEMBLE for this MARVELously Funny brunch with Salty Lady Burlesque, which kicks off with Marvel Trivia, mimosas, comedians, and of course a tawdry tribute stiptease! For the rest of you squares, upstairs in Paschall Bar is the always amazing PamFood Brunch

Denton Drag Queen Bingo Show | Crossroads Bar | 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM  
PRIDE month seems a perfect time to celebrate the dazzling diversity of this bi-monthly variety show that definitely ain’t your Grandma’s bingo game!
