WEDNESDAY, May 30th
Denton Wine Walk | Downtown Denton | 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Purchase a $10 wine glass and enjoy wine samples all evening from participating merchants. Wine glasses can be purchased the night of or online here. Look for the lighted table out front of Wine Squared or Steve’s Wine Bar, then sip-n-stroll to at least 6 of the listed stops to be be eligible to win items donated by local merchants at 9:15pm. Then there’s the Harvest House Comedy Show you oughtta check out!
THURSDAY, May 31st
Twilight Tunes | Denton County Courthouse On The Square | 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
The Denton Main Street Association proudly presents their award-winning FREE concert series in downtown Denton on Thursdays, this week featuring Melissa Ratley! Admission for every event is always FREE, so there is no reason you shouldn’t come out every week with your lawn chair or picnic blanket! Thursdays are also always hoppin’ downtown with Glitterbomb at Andy’s, a bicycle social ride at Eastside, live jazz at Steve’s Wine Bar, trivia at Mulberry St. Cantina, and gnoshes at Wine2, so plenty of good choices around the Square.
FRIDAY, June 1st
Grand Opening Weekends | Armadillo Ale Works | 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM
WAHOO, the time has finally arrived! Armadillo Ales spreads out their Grand Opening parties over two straight weekends with Food Trucks, Live Music, Live Screen Printing, and tons of their tasty award-winning craft beer!
Access Art Alley Ribbon Cutting | Discover Denton Welcome Center | 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Launching June 1st at the Discover Denton Welcome Center, will be a new piece in the one-of-a-kind visitors mecca: the Access Art Alley! Be there for the official ribbon cutting on June 1st at 4 p.m. and see artwork from the first featured local artist, Kimberley Dietrich. Pieces in the gallery will be available to purchase through the Greater Denton Arts Council. The event will start at 3:30 and wrap up at 5:00 p.m. There will be a jazz band in the DentonRadio.com studio, a live painter on-site, and much more. There will be light hors d’oeuvres from LSA Burger for attendees.

The beloved Denton Community Market is the best way to ring in Saturdays, and this weekend you can find all kinds of nifty crafty swag, produce, veggies, and live music! Browsing always pairs nicely with Saturday Jazz Brunch at The Chestnut Tree after some Yoga On The Square.
Ground Zero 360 | UNT On The Square | May 24-27
This new memorial exhibit features pictures and artifacts of 9/11 first responders, as well as radio calls from that day and fragmented steel and granite from the World Trade Center. The photographs of Nicola McClean taken during the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York City will be displayed through July 14.
Summer Reading Challenge Kick-Off | Denton Public Library | 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Join our local library in Quakertown Park for a live performance by Denton-based world music group Brave Combo to celebrate the Summer Reading Challenge! The performance will take place on the amphitheater near the Senior Center, all ages welcome.
A Plain View Opening Reception | GDAC | 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

The Backyard Market is switching it up with a night market, an evening soiree if you will, to sip a leisurely drink and check out some local handmade goods from Makers, neighborhood artists and craftspeople selling their works and wares!
