THE DEN10: JUNE 21st 2018

SHAUN TREAT

Today is Summer Solstice and the “official” longest day of the year, so our nifty guide to Summer Fun in Denton offers some cool ideas for beating the Texas heat without breaking the bank. We also have a ton of weekly #DENTONING options around town, thus we sort some top #DEN10 events to peruse, but post your favorites we overlooked in the comments.

The Denton Main Street Association proudly presents their award-winning FREE concert series in downtown Denton on Thursdays, this week it the Make Music Day jam! Admission is always FREE, so there is no reason you shouldn’t come out every week with your lawn chair or picnic blanket! Thursdays are also always hoppin’ downtown with Glitterbomb at Andy’s, a bicycle social ride at Eastside, live jazz at Steve’s Wine Bar, gnoshes at Wine2, and an LGBTW+ Social at Harvest House, so plenty of good choices around the Square.

Brave Boys Anniversary Roast | Dan’s SilverLeaf | 9:00 PM - 1:00 AM

What began with The 1st Beer Fight continues with Round 2 as opponents square-off in a savage pillow fight whilst holding beer! Relive the unbridled carnage in a beer bath of glory, where Denton celebrities compete for The We Defy Foundation in this night of pillow fighting fun, live music, a pop-up art show and, of course, CRAFT BEER!
