The fact that Oaktopia autocorrects to "octopi" is no longer our favorite thing about the local music festival. A few weeks ago, they gave us our first preview of what this year's festival would look like. They dropped names like Dr. Dog, Wavves, Nikki Lane, White Denim, Best Coast, Andrew WK, Mates of State, and Grandpa vs Prowler (Danny Masterson and Michael Pena) and promised the second announcement would up the ante.
