And here's our second What We Did post of the day. This one is complete with tons of images from this weekend's Oaktopia festival. This was the fourth year of Oaktopia and saw some of the biggest names yet. Artists such as Rae Sremmurd, Beirut, Cat Power, Norah Jones, Andrew W.K., and many more rocked Denton very hard over the course of the three day festival. We'll have a more in depth review out later, but in the meantime, here are a ton of photos for you to check out from Oaktopia.
The images below were shot by WDDI photographers and you, WDDI readers/Instagram taggers. You can click through on those photos to get to their Instagram pages and follow them. Check our all of the images below and let us know your favorite part of Oaktopia in the comments! Ours was the brief (but heavy) rain shower on Saturday evening. Search Instagram and Twitter for #Soaktopia to see what we're talking about.

BRUNCH WITH A SIDE OF OAKTOPIA
Over the years, panels have somehow become one of our favorite aspects of local music festivals. The curated selection of speakers, topics, and pointed questions makes for thought-provoking conversations among people you actually want to hear talk about stuff. There's not much that can make a well-organized panel better. Except for food, that is. Oaktopia took something we already loved and added brunch to it. Read on to find out more information on one of our most-anticipated Oaktopia events this Saturday and why you don't want to miss it.
