One of the many things that gives Denton its independent character is our thriving arts scene. The Visual Arts Society of Texas (VAST) is one of the organizations that supports that scene, and on February 7th, they’re giving the community the chance to hear from local award-winning watercolor painter Jo Williams.

Time for the season of Arts and Jazz, scary storms, gardening, and being annoyed at your neighbor mowing at 7am on a Saturday. You should stop in to the Gough Gallery for VAST’s (Visual Arts Society of Texas) 11th Annual 125-mile Visual Arts Exhibition. The exhibit features art of all mediums submitted by artists that live within a 125 mile radius of Denton.
