GDAC Presents ALL-STAR KARAOKE | | Dan’s Silverleaf | 8:00 PM - 12:00 AM
This 3rd annual FUNdraiser for the Greater Denton Arts Council is hosted by rocker Jessie Frye and boasts an A-list roster with the guarantee of D-list shenanigans. Tickets are $10 at the door and after the all-star performances, the mic spotlight is wide open to your squad from 10-midnight for just $5 per song. Become legend.

KUZU Blastoff Launch Party | Harvest House | 7:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Come celebrate with Denton’s new local radio station as they start sending a broadcast of community produced radio waves all over Denton 24/7! They're off the ground and on the air, so meet the DJs and enjoy two stages of live performances!
Independent Horror Film Night | The Parker House | 6:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Featuring 13 independent horror films made by some of the best talent in the DFW area, this special evening of terror supports our local DFW film scene while helping Heroes of Denton County raise money for a new fire suppression system. $10 admission and $10 per BYOB cooler, more details at the Parker House Haunted Attraction website.

Lolly Hopwood Kids Show | BackYard On Bell | 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Singing a mix of original and classic kids songs and using props like scarves, puppets and parachutes, Lolly promises to take the audience on a fun filled adventure that will engage the kids and entertain grown-ups, too. You had us at pizza and puppets.
Sundown Cinema: JAWS | Andy’s Bar | 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Their weekly Sunday Nite feature celebrates #SharkWeek with this classic flick and costume prizes, so sip a few PBR and discuss which sequel was most outlandish.

The nerds return with another set of entertaining talks on Denton bicycles, a zany rare skateboard, and the Best Comics you’ve never read! Go enjoy “Hell On Wheels” while sampling a tasty selection of craft brewskis!
Denton has plenty of other indoor stops to keep you cool when you ain’t enjoying that new Water Works Park Wave Pool or chilling in City Pool.
