The countdown to Halloween just got real, y’all, and there are tons of festive and spooky happenings to keep you busy. Our list of last year’s Haunted Attractions is still solid, as is our run-down of the 5 Most Haunted Places in Denton you can visit. It’s a devil of a task, but we’ve forced ourselves to highlight the top cannot-miss events around Denton that you’ll want to know about in this special haunted Halloween #DEN13 list. If you’re gonna spend the next week having the bejeepers scared out of you, then you definitely need some laughs to offset those jangled nerves. We are digging this comedy show featuring a line-up of local talent, and you will too.

As part of Stop the Stigma, Not the Music, Cinedump.com and Macabrecast will be co-sponsoring Day of the Dead For Life, a Dia de los Muertos celebration within the event. An authentic observation of the holiday, Day of the Dead for Life will feature an offrenda for attendees to place photos of departed friends and loved ones, as well as other traditional Dia de los Muertos observations and information about the holiday. $7 admission.

Step right up into a Circus tent of kooky Halloween fun and merriment, with a dash of spider's web and a few witches' spells thrown into the pot! Enjoy Denton's very own original Halloween musical: a truly delightful descent into the macabre, chock full of sinister songs, some devilish dancing, and perfectly putrid poetry. CDH is fun for the entire family but tix go fast!
