Last Tuesday, We Denton Do It hosted a show at J & J’s Pizza, where we got to catch up with Julian Lynch. It came at an interesting time for both of us--Julian had been given Pitchfork’s coveted “Best New Music” rating a day earlier, and this was our site’s first “non-house show”.
Julian is one of those people who is impossible not to like. He approaches his live performance differently than his recorded album. He grabs wind instruments, some effects pedals and jams out a set. Watch the interview for his take on music, education and performance.×
