Are you pulling your hair out trying to figure out ways to get out of the house with the kids? Have your kiddos watched all 47,000 Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episodes? Denton offers a great many of free activities for families including the Denton Blues FestThe Holiday Lighting Festival, and The Big Denton Playdate. In addition to all the other awesome services that they provide, twice a year the Denton Libraries host a big play date featuring Denton ISD, the Denton Public Library, and UNT for hands-on games that encourage early literacy.

5 THINGS NOT TO MISS: THE DENTON BLACK FILM FESTIVAL

The Denton Black Film Festival returns to Denton for it’s third year this coming weekend, and we’re pretty excited about all of the films, music, panels, and poetry that are about to descend upon our little city.
