It is officially Friday. The high school and college students have graduated which makes it that magical time in Denton when you can get in and out of Kroger in less than ten minutes. Whatever you're up to today, you probably need some Youtube time. Take a quick break, grab some caffeine, and watch the five videos we have for you below. This month's video post is music-focused and features the likes of Jessie Frye, Daniel Markham/Claire Morales, Stu Brootal, Pansy Moon, and some local folks dancing to JT's new song that has something to do with trolls somehow. Oaktopia took over downtown Denton for its junior year of programming, offering interactive art installations, a mini-skate park set up, outdoor movies, and oh yeah - live music. Once known for being a predominantly hip-hop driven festival, this year they took a heavy indie turn at Isreal Nash and went full speed toward Edward Sharpe and his Magnetic Zeros. We aren’t complaining, though. We like Sarah Jaffe, too.

Thin Line kicked off the 2015 festival season with a bang. The Dallas Morning News called it, "the best North Texas festival you've probably never heard of," and Jason Lee apparently wants to move here because we're all so awesome. It's been a good couple of days with something for everyone. There were rap shows at Hailey's, great music at Dan's Silverleaf, photo galleries all around town, and tons of documentaries and short films with many of the actual filmmakers present.
