“The past is never dead,” William Faulkner hauntingly reminds us of the South, “It’s not even past.” Black History Month is an important time for reflecting upon our past and present, dedicating time to explore aspects of Denton history both praiseworthy and shameful as we together strive towards the betterment of our community. Another packed week in Denton. The DIME Store had their Handmade Harvest, we got to check out Summit Gym, people showed up at 7:30 a.m. for an InstaDFW photo-meet, and much more. We're sure the beautiful November weather helped to put us all in good moods. Although, the less-beautiful November allergies are kind of kicking our butt right now. Oh well. 72 degree weather makes it worth it.
