Local lawn party promises to fill a hot night with cool music, ideally accompanied by cold adult beverages & a blanket from Wine2, or maybe a chilled growler of craft beer from Bearded Monk. Hustle early for a shady spot, if’n you’re smart.
Raised Right Men & Fredy’s Special Brisket Sandwich | Juicy Pig | 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Not entirely sure if the “Special Brisket Sandwich” is a menu item or musical act, but since its Juicy Pig we’re willing to give either a shot.

We love supporting film festivals, retro-arcade games, short film screenings and beer so this “Give Back” FUNdraiser looks like a lot of win.

I’m starting to think they’ll never “Gimme Back My Dog,” but dang if these local legends ain’t a hoot to singalong with over a cold Lone Star.

It actually happened! Denton grit & persistence won city support for our very own splashpark, so celebrate the victory with shady playground fun and kid-friendly activities from Explorium Denton! Afterwards, you can wander over to check out the Brick Haus Collective’s fReeCycle Sale nearby.
Denton Pride Weekend | Mable Peabody’s | nightly schedule
Denton’s only hooch-selling beauty parlor and chainsaw repair has a full weekend of events lined up, including the Glitterbomb Queer Variety Show, Queeraoke, dance parties and FREE hotdogs! Yeah, you read that right.
We Denton Drag It | Backyard on Bell | 7pm | $11
A night of comedy, djing, and drag (featuring Sharon Needles) all of which goes to a good cause. Friends with Benefits Denton is a great local nonprofit group that is a big help to those in need and this event sounds like a blast. But your ticket in advance (click the link above!
Sunday, June 25th

A cabal of groups are sponsoring this LGBTQ+ social that celebrates Denton diversity with drinks, food trucks, and Pan Ector live-printing special Pride Month tees after the TransMarch on the Denton Square.
Bluegrass Brunch with Boxcar Bandits & PamFood | Dan’s Silver Leaf | 2:00pm-8:00pm
Do not even ask. Do it. You’ll thank us later. But hey, if not, reckon there’s a Vegetarian Society BBQ Potluck you can check out.

Holy Beer-Fueled Hijinks! This month’s nerdy speakers are bringing talks on Wolf Brand Chili, Kombucha, and a tribute to the late Adam West. Added bonus is a musical set by the soulful crooning of Denton’s own Cowgirl Music darling Kim Nall, so don’t miss it!
