It’s probably going to rain this weekend so it must be time for Denton’s beloved Art’s & Jazz Festival! Prepare yourself for all of the art, jazz, mud and fried foods because this weekend has it all. We’ll be out and about dodging lightning, tornados and anything labeled “fusion” to catch our standby staples, the One O’clock and the Calhoun Middle School Jazz Band (4:30PM, Festival Stage on Friday). Here’s a handy map in case you get lost. Hot tip: find the bottlenecks and avoid the bridge at all costs. People are still trying to get over that bridge from last year. Oh yeah, and check out our experience from 2015 here. This weeks What We Did post for Monday is going to be EPIC with your help. Hashtag your photos #WDDI and show us how close you weaseled yourself to the stage for Aaron Neville. Bonus points for a photo tagged #WDDI if you’re actually on the stage.
