VIDEO: DRONE VS DENTON (COFFIN RACES)

As a reward for your voting today, we are sharing an awesome drone video from last month's Coffin Races created by Nick Wood. Wood is a local videographer (and sometimes photographer) that creates short videos for companies for promotional use. With this video, Wood hoped to, "give a visual representation of the type of community our city has and how so many of our local business help support one another. " To create the video, Wood first got permission from the city to use his registered DJI Phantom 3 drone and then flew it all over the place during the coffin races. If you saw a white shape floating in the sky that day, it was probably him. Click through to watch his video!

This short video was legally filmed with permission and consists of many local business who created their own coffins (boxcars) to race at the Denton Day of the Dead Festival sponsored by Audacity Brewing. Please forgive my piloting. I was flying in 20mph winds. Businesses who raced include: Eastside Oak St.
