Downtown Open House | The Square | 9am-11am
Friday evening, Saturday from 10am-5:30pm, and Sunday from noon-5pm, come shop all your favorite places downtown and beyond for Denton Main Street Association’s Spring Forward Open House. Participating merchants are running specials, even for your little ones!
Friday and Saturday, March 6-7th
Shamrock Superhero 5k | Kappa Delta House | $ varies | 9:30am
Up and away for this fun run to raise money for Children’s Advocacy Center of Denton and Prevent Child Abuse America. Kappa Delta’s Gamma Beta chapter is running to prevent child abuse, and you can bring your whole family for a BBQ meal Friday night, and a fun run in the morning.
Saturday, March 7th
Touch a Truck | CH Collins Stadium Parking Lot | $2 donation | 10am-2pm
It’s the event we’ve all be dreaming of! Every vehicle you’ve ever wanted to climb on, get in, or explore will be over in North Denton on Saturday! Bonus: from 9am-10am the event is open for special needs children and their families. Oh, and there will be food trucks, too!
Cornerstone Preschool Annual Pancake Supper | First Presbyterian Church | $5 | 6pm
Seriously, this is one of the funnest (that’s a word) events of the year! You won’t believe all the great auction items and build-your-own-pancake masterpiece action. This year’s theme is Western: parents, you get to dress up too! Giddy-up and gather the herd on over there.
Denton Roller Disco | Lone Star Indoor Sports | $8-20 | 6pm
What do you get when you mix roller skates, live music and an afro contest? A party you’ll never forget! This groovy fundraiser benefits the Denton Community Market. Presale tickets available here.
