What's your opinion on biking in Denton? Do you think it is insignificant compared to motor vehicle use? Well, we don’t, but apparently someone does. Meet tonight at City Hall for the next city Planning & Zoning Commission meeting, directly discussing the importance of biking in Denton.
Thursday, November 19th
Star Wars Night | Oak St. Draft House | 7:00 p.m.
Denton is on a Star Wars themed tear right now, you guys. I mean, we are literally only one month away from the release of Episode VII, so how better to celebrate than by going to Oak St. Draft House for a pint night? Drink & take home a commemorative cup. We’ll take two! This event is also celebrating the release of Star Wars: Shattered Empire - a graphic novel with stories that took place after Return of the Jedi.
Raw Pressure : P.A.N.T.S | Voertmans | 6:00 p.m. | Free
The Printmaking Association of North Texas Students (P.A.N.T.S.) will be partnering with Voertman’s to present their newest show: Raw Pressure. There will be 18 different artists, free pizza, and Dome Dwellers playing live music. Why the hell wouldn’t you go to this?
Helen Kelter Skelter and Pearl Earl | Harvest House | 6:00 p.m. | Free
Y’all we love Pearl Earl and free live music. Therefor, we love Harvest House. More on the love list: bands from out of town. Coming in from Oklahoma, Helen Kelter Skelter will be opening for Denton psychedelic babes, Pearl Earl. So much love.
Friday, November 20th

It is the end of an era for Hailey’s, sure - but, they are still throwing a couple of big shows before their final send off later this year. Y’all remember that ‘Chicken Head’ song? Well, that is Project Pat. And he’ll be in Denton on Friday!
