Friday's can sometimes be the doldrums at work. If you work in an office, you're probably sneaking in some Reddit or Youtube time (or your personal favorite time waster) in between spreadsheets and .psd's. Heck, maybe you work retail and have to do all of that on your mobile device. Maybe you're actually getting work done (bless you, hard worker). We're gonna focus on the lazy ones, though. Here are three local videos for your watching pleasure. A video from Wesley Kirk with a behind-the-scenes look at December's Help-Portrait: Denton event, another top-notch video from Fishboy that combines hand drawn animation with real life, and a video from The Hickory St. Project that highlights Hoochies. Let's hop to it...
Here's a behind the scenes peek at Decembers Help-Portrait: Denton event courtesy of Wesley Kirk. If you're interested in helping out next year, check out their Facebook page here.
Man draws elephant. Elephant comes to life. Elephant self-replicates. Elephants take over man? Man goes crazy. Good tunes throughout. Fishboy videos are the closest thing Denton has to David Lynch.
He's from Bawston. We're pretty impressed by these dudes ability to maintain positivity with all of the construction they've been dealing with on Hickory St. We're ready for it to be over, too, so we can have that beautifully-updated street to walk up and down over and over again. There's enough sunshine out right now for us to justify hopping over to Hoochie's and grabbing some oysters for lunch, right?
