The polar vortex has descended with impunity on our little hamlet in North Texas. As you scramble through your winter boxes for last years sweaters and wool coats, consider what there is to do this weekend. As usual, we’ve put together what we consider the “top ten” events happening in our humble town. It’s America Recycle Day and to celebrate, Denton Recycle has organized a community bike ride from the square to the Pratt Recycling facility off of Mayhill and then back to East Side for lunch on Pratt.

Free Red Bull and a donation bucket going around to help fund our local non-profit bike shop.

It’s on night art show in the massive and vibey warehouse behind Panhandle House just off the square.
