Is it Spring? Is it Winter? Who cares, we’re in Denton and as usual, there are too many things to get into if you’re surviving the worst allergy season in recorded history. Benadryl is your friend and we are just here to help you out and point you in the right direction this week. Saturday is going to be a pretty big day and we’re excited because we got fancy and got some pairs of box tickets to the Murchison for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra performance. It’s looking forward to these things that make the week and the allergies bearable.

Chris Cole 104 AKA AV The Great hosts a weekly at Hailey’s that we’re sure has got to be better than almost anything else they’ve got going right now. Except maybe 80’s night which we’ve heard is starting to come back around again. Is Hailey’s on the rise?

Mother Falcon / Wild Moccasins / Chinaski | Dan’s Silverleaf | 10PM | $13
Here’s one of the best lineups you’ll find in Denton this week. The 18 piece Motherfalcon will all but take over the venue this Saturday. Also of note is new up and comer Chinaski. Keep your eyes peeled for that one.
2014 Bond Program Citizen Input Meeting | Civic Center | 10AM
Do you think you’ve got a good idea for a bond project? Well this Saturday is your last chance to throw your idea into the ring before the 51 member Bond Committee gets down to business from now until May to make a proposal to City Council. With the amount of smart creative folks we figure this last public input meeting should be packed with folks ready to give their opinion on project ideas.
Dallas Symphony Orchestra: DSO On The Go | The Murchison | 8PM | $19
This is a program we couldn’t miss. Selections from Verdi, Bernstein, Copland, Strauss and Rossini. Yes, it’s sort of the pop hits of symphonic music but we’ll take it when we can get it without having to drive to Dallas.
