WHAT WE DID: FEBRUARY 13TH 2017

What We Did is our weekly look into the visual captures of Denton life that people have documented on Instagram along with the hashtag #WDDI. Every week, we comb through hundreds of images to try and find a few that are not only fun photos, but also provide a great look at what was happening in the City of Denton during that week.

This week we have some photos of live music, coffee competitions, new fast food joints and plenty more.

Click on the image to be led back to the photographer's Instagram account. If you'd like to be featured in What We Did, take your images with #WDDI and check back here next Monday.

Got a question about What We Did or why Five Guys is better than In-N-Out? Send an email to will@wedentondoit.com.

@laurenlacubanita with a shot from Windy City Grub Hub, the new Chicago-style street food spot on Hickory near UNT. If this photo doesn't represent the food you imagine eating at 1am on a Friday night, then you're doing it wrong.

@whereismyrobot getting stuff done at East Side last week.

@thepsychogeoff with a shot of Aaron McClellan at Dan's.

@hkgregory had some cute, hairy triplets last week.

Denton finally got its In-N-Out location last Friday. We're kinda partial to Five Guys when it comes to fast food burgers, but it is always nice to have some options. Next on the list: Shake Shack. Photo by @wedentondoit.

@personalgrind of @westoakcoffee competed over the weekend at the Austin Coffee Champs barista competition.

@bradholt with a shot of a recent coffee "cupping" at Shift.

A scene from Brutal Juice's album release last week from @wamperstamp.

@mrhuggins with an elevated shot from The Little Chapel in the Woods.

We'll end the week again with another classic photo from @chosmuseum, the official Instagram account of the Denton County Courthouse Museum. Here's Bruce Balentine pouring a ton of cherries on an over-sized ice cream sundae in 1982.
