PIZZA SNOB

We often find ourselves thinking that Denton needs more great restaurants. Mostly this is because Denton just plain old needs more great restaurants. Now, don't get us wrong. This isn't a slam to our current restaurant scene, but as a person who eats out a good deal, less is not more when it comes to choosing where to have dinner. We have often caught ourselves saying, "we need more restaurants, just not more pizza or burgers," but boy were we wrong. Pizza Snob, Denton's newest dough and cheese slinger,  just opened off the square on Hickory St. at the base of H Squared. WHAT WE DID: SEPTEMBER 7TH

Okay, the weather folks are whispering about rain and cold fronts later this week. We're hoping that writing about it won't jinx it 'cause we could sure go for some sub-90 temps right about now. Grilling steaks on Labor Day weekend when the thermometer is buzzing around 100 ain't too fun. Anyway, here's a day late What We Did (it isn't a dollar short, though). We took Labor Day off to eat some baked dough with cheese at Pizza Snob.
