WOMEN'S RALLY ON THE DENTON SQUARE
A group which calls itself A United Denton will host a rally at the Historic Denton Courthouse 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. January 21, 2017. The event is free, inclusive, and open to everyone. The group considers the rally to be in solidarity with the Women’s March on Washington, scheduled on the same day.

We wrote about half of a Looking Back at 2016 in Denton post and then deleted it. We can really only write about how much we like Boca 31 and Komodo Loco and dislike construction on University so much before we start to repeat ourselves. Instead, we decided to look forward into the future. What does the near future (nay present) have in store for Denton? We have a few things in mind. I am writing this now because I may or may not have spent most of New Year’s Day recovering from New Year’s Eve.
I certainly considered being a bigger person and taking it easy so that I could wake up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and get a workout in on the very first day of the year, but here we are. I will make no excuses…Is it still fair to blame it on 2016 though?
