THE DEN10: APRIL 5th

Some people like Vegas. While we totally get that, we also recognize that the unabashed display of abject consumerism isn’t everyone’s jam. The Den10 however, has something for everyone. So load on up, get your mudbug-eating-face on and tear it up because let’s be hones, this is what you live for.

NOW OPEN: BUMBERSHOOT BARBECUE

On any given day you can Google "BBQ in Texas" and more than 32 million results will pop up in your browser. We're barbecue people in Texas (some of us are barbeque people instead). In Denton though, we’ve got a handful of great places smoking meat with the best of 'em. In town we have a few favorites, but just on the outskirts of town, we have a new place to stop when we make the long drive between Southlake’s Trader Joe’s and home. Bumbershoot Barbecue is set up and ready to go, tucked behind Earl’s 377 and Kimzey’s Coffee at 407 and 377. Read on to see some photos and hear about our experience there earlier this week.

P.S. Ya know those three posts we ran on Saturday that got a few people upset (i.e. Morrison's Corn-Kits turning into a vape store)? Yeah, those were all April Fool's pranks. So, you can go ahead and put down your pitchforks and rest easy. Spiral Diner will serve delicious vegan fare. Morrison's Corn-Kits will continue to produce corn bread packets (and more). And LSA will continue to be loud (but not THAT loud).
