THE DEN10: April 13th

It’s hard to believe we’re facing Easter Sunday and we’re halfway through the month of April. You guys realize that May is when the real rainfall will hit, right? It’s the perfect time to set out on foot and enjoy the cool Texas Spring breeze on your way to the Community Market and the cities greatest and most important city council debate / forum of this season at Dan’s Silver Leaf, Monday April 17th at 6:30 PM. The incredible local attorney, Jill Jester will be moderating with her mundane, watching-paint-dry delivery. Make sure you hashtag your good IG’s with #WDDI and we just might share them if they cut the mustard on Monday.

It’s 2017, where do we even start? Here we go: this event is the reason this is a selective, top 10 list. To be more clear: go to this because regardless of the illusion that we have everything at our fingertips, we don’t.

We Denton Do It Presents: Candidate Debate 2017 | Dan’s Silver Leaf | 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
There is a campaign raging across the city as candidates battle for 3 open seats on our city council. This debate comes the week before early voting and is arguably the most important, in depth look at how the candidates will operate under the extreme stress and scrutiny of the office they are competing for. Our favorite attorney, Jill Jester will mercilessly grill the candidates collectively for over an hour until one of them cracks on stage at our favorite public house, Dan’s Silver Leaf. OK, it’s not going to be that intense, but a great discussion over the future direction and vision for Denton will be the the topic and you don’t want to miss the possible fireworks.
