The weather is perfectly springy, the sun is out, the trees are in full bloom, and the crawfish boils have been abounding. This weekend is the mama jama of all local boils though - the 20th Annual Mudbug Boil on Hickory and Fry. This boil has been a great fundraiser for local non-profits and organizations in the community for years. Last year they raised over $35,000 for community initiatives. They've teamed up with more local vendors this year, kicking the whole day off with a 5K (so you can detox before you re-tox) and have a schedule packed with entertainment on two stages. Grab the kids, grab your friends, and get ready for some lip tingling crawfish fun!
