WHAT WE DID: JUNE 29th 2015

Here's What We Did, our weekly photo post featuring images shot in Denton, TX over the past seven days. Last week saw some H20 fighting, a celebration on the courthouse lawn after the Supreme Court ruled gay marriage legal, and some summer good times.

Click on the images below to get linked to the appropriate photographer's Instagram account where you can then follow them and get a new Instagram buddy! To be included in next week's What We Did, make sure to tag your Instagram photos with #WDDI and we will put our favorites in next week's post.

Hundreds of people made their way to the square on Friday after gay marriage was ruled legal by the supreme court. This was after Denton County Clerk Julie Luke had refused to issue licenses due to her conflicting beliefs. However, as of this morning, she has since gone on to issue licenses to same sex couples, citing, "My personal belief cannot prevent me from issuing the licenses as required." Photo by @stephanierosephoto.

The Shinsen juice at Harvest House is one of our favorites. They just launched their own cocktail menu featuring drinks that highlight several of their house made juices. Also, did you know that every Wednesday, resident juicer, Andie Sterling, creates a small batch juice featuring local produce from local famers just for that day? We hear that this week's involves cucumber...
